A building project involves many handovers: from structural design to the factory, from the factory to the site, from the general contractor to the assembly team. Every handover costs time and carries the risk of information getting lost or responsibilities remaining unclear.
LIGNA systems closes these gaps: planning, production, delivery and assembly come from a single source, with planning in our own engineering office and production in our own factory in Sankt Vith. Your structure is built from one data model that runs from the structural design to the barcode marking of every component. You do not coordinate between contractors, we coordinate for you.
Phase 1 · Planning
IFC in, timber out: planning that fits your model
You keep your existing engineering. Send us your steel model (IFC, Revit or Tekla) and we show you which members can be built in timber, without changing your design. We adapt the timber to your structure and engineer the connections to match.
The horizontal load path, roof diaphragm, bracing and seismic, stays in steel; we convert the members where timber pays off. Engineered in ANSI-certified glulam to the IBC (Type IV), prefabricated and delivered ready to install.
Phase 2 · Production
Five stations under one roof
Our production in Europe combines precision, efficiency and the latest technology. Every project is realised in our modern plant in Belgium with the greatest care and attention to detail.

Phase 3 · Delivery
Aligned with your schedule
With our digitalised logistics we always know the status of your delivery: every component is barcode-registered and traceable from the factory gate to unloading.
Within Europe we deliver directly to your site. Beyond that, our structures load easily as components into standard containers, delivered worldwide.
Phase 4 · Assembly
Three assembly models, one for your project
No two projects are alike, so we deliver your structure the way that suits you: as a kit, with assembly supervision or fully assembled. Assembly plans and component marking always come from LIGNA systems.
The choice is yours
- As a kit: your crew assembles it themselves following our assembly plans, every part marked and referenced in the plan.
- With assembly supervision: an experienced LIGNA systems site manager supports your assembly on site.
- Fully assembled: we take on and take responsibility for the entire assembly of your structure.
