Technical Sales Manager North America

As part of our North American sales team, you guide our customers from the first technical inquiry through to the signed contract. Together with Business Development, Sales Engineering, and Engineering, you develop cost-effective, technically compelling structural solutions in timber, and you are our customers’ central point of contact throughout the entire proposal phase.
Your tasks
- Providing technical advice to our customers during the proposal phase
- Developing cost-effective structural concepts together with our Sales Engineering team
- Coordinating the technical preparation of proposals
- Aligning customers, Sales, and Engineering
- Preparing and leading technical customer meetings
- Guiding projects through to contract signing
- Working closely with Business Development to win new customers and projects
- Handing over successful projects to Project Management
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in North America and a solid understanding of the North American business culture
- Business-fluent English
- Fluent German for day-to-day collaboration with our European team
- A technical degree or comparable qualification (e.g. civil engineering, timber construction, steel construction, or mechanical engineering)
- A strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in structural solutions
- Enjoyment of working with customers and developing technical solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an independent way of working
- Willingness to travel within North America
